Replacement Contacts

Tools needed are 10 mm hex, phillips screwdriver and soldering iron to remove and fix one wire in points.

Pump contact producer/packer Tour Max, numbers on package 7244304 and FPS-900. Ordered from wemoto.com (UK).

UPDATE (per Scott McMillan): The "untested" 18-4615 contacts noted below from Sirius Consolidated Inc (Ontario) turned out to be Tour Max contacts labeled with 18-4615 and FPS-900. These worked just fine in a VF500C'84. The K&L ones remain untested.

The same type of pump seems to be in quite many Hondas, Kawasakis and Yamahas - only the inlets are straight, not 90 degree angle as in SabMags.

The fix took less than one hour, and the pump did not need to be removed from the bike. V30s require pump removal due to placement.
